Volume Surge: Canadian Solar (CSIQ)

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ) is seeing a surge in pre-market activity today after the company raised its guidance.  The company lifted its annual guidance for 2008 from 200 to 220 MW to 230 to 260 MW in output and its estimated annual revenue from $650 to $750 million to $750 to $870 million.  Shares closed at 442.46 yesterday, and we have now seen 114,000 shares trade hands with a last trade of $46.15 by 8:44 AM EST.
