US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE: LCC) is seeing huge gains this morning on strong trading volume. The airline carrier came out and said it is going to charge 415 even for the first checked bag, and the company said it was going to cut 1,700 workers and lower its capacity to focus on more profitable routes. We are already seeing a 16% gain to $3.15 on 2.2 million shares in the firstr 25 minutes. Keep in mind that this one saw over 18 million shares trade hands yesterday.
