Volume Spike Investor

Alvarion Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALVR) is seeing a surge in pre-market trading this morning.  The company signed a strategic WiMAX agreement with Nortel Networks today, and this has shares running on high volume.

We have already seen about 150,000 shares trade with more than 20 minutes to the open of trading.  Its average trading volume is 590,000 shares.  Shares closed at $7.51 yesterday and are now indicated up around $8.08.
