RAM Energy Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAME) just saw a sudden surge of highly abnormal after-hours trading activity. The company was just featured on CNBC’s MAD MONEY show as Jim Cramer’s final pick for this week’s special where he featured wildcatting oil and gas stocks. This one is nuts for Friday night as at 6:35 PM EST it has seen in excess of 78,000 shares trade hands and the last print was at $6.26. This one has a tiny volume on most days and has a market cap of a mere $348 million before the pop. In normal trading it closed at $5.73, so there’s a lot of after-hours fluff that just went into this one. Link to his picks this week.
